Madras release to be postponed?

Initially, Studio Green had announced that Karthi’s Madras will hit the screens on July 25th. However, as a lot of movies are trying their luck to release this month, Studio Green is likely to postpone the release of Madras to next month, to avoid clash at the box office.

As of now, Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda is confirmed to hit the screens on July 25th, and movies like Salim and Sarabham are also targeting the same date. It looks like a smart move from Studio Green, as their movie would get a wide release next month. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the movie’s trailer has created a huge buzz already.
